CAD / CAM Manufacturing

“Smart programming equals lower costs, which means better prices for our customers”

– Gary Byatt, Managing Director

What is CAD/CAM?

CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design / Manufacture) is used to both design and manufacture products.  It’s effectively a link between the drawing or model and the machining process needed to turn it into a real-life component.

The software generates the tool paths needed to produce the finished part based on the CAD design and passes these instructions to the machine which then carries out the process, be it punching, milling, turning, grinding, forming or cutting.
